Erin graduated with a BA in chemistry and molecular biology and biochemistry from Wesleyan University in 2015. As an undergraduate, she worked in Dr. Erika Taylor’s lab on a project investigating the use of lignin as a biofuel. After graduating, she worked in Dr. Wade Harper’s lab at Harvard Medical School where she utilized gene-editing technology to study neurodegenerative diseases. Erin’s thesis work is focused on the effects of environmental stressors, including chemical exposures and mechanical forces, on the development of oligodendrocytes.
