Jesse graduated in 2018 from Johns Hopkins University where he studied Neuroscience and Applied Mathematics and Statistics. As an undergraduate, he studied circuits between the retina and the brain that regulate light’s effect on mood and social behavior. Jesse is currently investigating processes underlying oligodendrocyte lineage cell aging and strategies to rejuvenate the functions of this cell lineage. Jesse is also interested in opportunities to create a more equitable and decentralized scientific ecosystem through web3 technologies. In his free time, Jesse enjoys photography, filming, going to the gym, and cutting hair for his friends.
