Jessica graduated with a BS in Neuroscience from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 2015. After graduating, she worked at the Mayo Clinic in the lab of Dr. Peter Harris investigating polycystic kidney disease. She is interested in leukodystrophies, specifically the roles that oligodendrocytes and astrocytes have in disease development.
